Technology and oenological knowledge can now easily create a good wine. However, when aiming for top quality, the essential prerequisite is that the wine originates from an exceptional vineyard. This is why the Zacharioudakis family invested in a Cretan vineyard, passionately planted on Orthi Petra Hill in southern Crete. Cultivated organically, in unique soils, this vineyard is designed to produce remarkable harvests.
Description
Organic Features: This red wine aged, based on a blend that combines the spicy scherzo of KOTSIFALI and the strict power of Cabernet. It is known for its vivid colour and aroma of mature fruits and herbs set against the subtle vanilla of the oak barrel. Soft and juicy in taste, with ‘round tannins’ and a rich, aromatic finish.
Aging: 5 Months in French and American Oak Barrels
Vinification: Red BIO dry wine aged in barrels
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon 60%, Kotsifali 40%
Alcohol: 14,5%
Serving: 17°C - 18°C.
Food Pairing: Enjoy it with white meat and mature cheeses.
