Apricot is rich in vitamin A carotenes (b-carotene), lycopene, loutein and zeaxanthines which are all responsible for it’s golden colour. They provide us with vitamin C and riboflavins which protect us against ‘bad’ cholesterol levels. They also provide us with B-3 vitamin (niacine), iron, potassium and dietary fibres to relieve one from constipation.
